Dr. Samir is a high profile professional with more than 30 years of proven practical experience in
Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets & Economics, Feasibility Studies, Corporate
Governance, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Advisory Services. He was an active
member of ICMA Board of Regents in USA for 6 years sharing globally in updating the study content
and exam of the CMA certificate. He worked at Amer Group as the Group Audit Director where he
lead and modernized the Internal Audit Function and managed large scope audit engagements for
diversified businesses including Real Estate Development, hospitality and restaurants. Shared in
transforming and modernizing Dubai Financial Market where he acted as Vice President – Head of
Internal Audit. He has extensive experience in internal audit, internal controls and government
audit within several large organizations including KPMG, Central Audit Bureau (Egypt) and
Government of Dubai.

He worked as instructor for finance, accounting, and auditing in AUC, Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi)
and Informatics (Dubai). He is a PhD holder as well as CPA, CMA, CFM, CITP holder.
